I went one step further - booted NT 4 and downloaded all 12.6 meg of
NS4.01. just to give it a fair shot. After it gobbled 27+ meg of the
drive to install (Hey, I can do a min install of Warp 3 in not too much
more!) I also found it slower than molasses. The new features did zip
for me over what the current NS2 v.2.01 does in OS/2. I have little
forseeable use for the conferencing and so forth. I do like the HTML
editor, tho. Then you get to the 'push' client and I say enough,
already! Mush as I hate to say it, I found IE to be preferable here
also.
Caveat: suites are not my favorite life form. Give me lean, trim
programs that do specific tasks VERY well and let me worry about which
I want when and where!
