I know what you mean.  My folks make it out about once a year and split
the time between us & my sister in Phoenix.  They will be out for
Rachel's wedding in June and the baby's (my sister is due in late May)
christening the next week end.  Steve's folks were out last year for
Rachel's graduation & hope to make the wedding but right now, that's a
bit iffy.

And, as of now, it's 4 days.  He will arrive at the Tucson airport next
Tuesday.

OK, I probably wouldn't be up on a Sunday but maybe another time.  We
hope to get the veil material & the last of what I need for the other
dresses on Tuesday.

It's on a sturdy enough base that there's no danger of it falling.  I'm
glad I had the knife disengaged; at that speed I would have gotten a
dilly of a cut if I'd gotten near it.

Enjoy your visit.  I'm going to be doing some more cleaning and sewing.
Last night I got a lot of one brides'maid dress done.  Have to do the
sleeves and drape, will have to hem it after Rachel decides on the shoes
and the local girl gets hers.  I know I'll probably have to hem a couple
of them the week of the wedding after 2 of the girls get here but if I
can be done with everything else before that, so much the better.
