FWIW I think he should have stayed as leader but the Libs seem > determined to maintain their 3rd place. It's odd that several news stories this week have stressed the dangers of alcohol and the damage it is doing to our collective lives. Just check out news.google for UK stories about binge drinking, liver disease, etc. Alcoholisn is recognised as a disease - the first step to a cure is to admit it. He's done that, and exposed himself. I think it would be appropriate to cut him some slack and not jump on his neck when he has so much else to deal with. Inter alia, he's the best chance of a leader they've got. I have this mental image of the leaders of the Lib Dems standing up in a corracle (yes, it would be big enough) and ceremonially pulling the bilge plug. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
