Yes! I am proud to be an up and coming "Christmas Tree" scouter myself.
I am going to receive my first den leader knot after June having helped
all 7 of my guys advance  to Webelos. Saturday, I get the Delmont
Webelos Leader Outdoor Training Day. Ought to be fun!

I hope to be nominated for Wood badge eventually. I have seen two others
get theirs in very different ceremonies and recognize the large amount
of effort put into the course.  If I may appear stupid - what are the
other two? Is the national camping school done at Philmont?
Yup! I got the patch. Neat one!  Thanks! It will go on my friendship
jacket as opposed to my "earned" jacket.  For Girl Scouts I have a
two-peice jacket that displays all the awards and badges I earned as a
girl on the under coat and all the patches earned when attending camps
and such on the outer shell - which continues to grow again.  Then I
have a lap quilt with all the swap patches from girl scout friends which
is also growing again!
These patches do more than "showcase" our experience.  I think they
inspire the youngins to follow us up the ladder and hopefully surpass
us!
