OH! right... imp-mail has to run hpt so it has to run hpt/dos... i forgot
about that...

let's try what Kai has been saying... forget bundles and see what happens
with raw PKTs... in your link sections for each of your feeds, comment out
the "Packer" line for them...

===== snip =====
#links.conf file for use with husky software

Link example linked system
  AKA               1:456/789
  ourAka            1:789/456

  pktPwd            password
  ticPwd            password
  areafixPwd        password
  filefixPwd        password
  bbsPwd            password
  sessionPwd        password
  netMailFlavour    direct
  echoMailFlavour   direct
  fileEchoFlavour   direct
  allowEmptyPktPwd  secure
  areafixAutoCreate on
  areaFixAutoCreateFile /home/someuser/fido/etc/1-456-789.areas
  areafixAutoCreateDefaults -d "Automatically added area" -b jam
-a 1:789/456 -g Z -p 1100 -dupeCheck move -dupeHistory 1100 -sbkeepall
#  Packer zip
===== snip =====

note that last line... comment it out for each of your links you are
testing with and you will not get bundles created... let's see if the same
problem also affect raw PKT files... if it does not, then you're good to go
and just forget about bundles altogether...
