those bids by m**r were probably his high bid response to someone else
trying to out bid him for the GS. If you notice his first bid is $300,
which was probably what it took to outbid the person with the $150
bid. He could have set his initial bid at, let's say $1000, $300
outbid the previous high, it bumped to $400, $500 and $600 as other
people tried to outbid him.
