I seen to be having a problem here with a very large number of block errors.

Can someone tell me what causes them, so I can call Telstra and get
something done about it.

It seems rather coincidental that this problem started yesterday, the same
day that several Telstra guys were working in pits across and down the road
from where I live, and while it was raining they *didn't* have any covers
over the pits. :-(

For your viewing pleasure, here are the stats of the last call I made to OzEmail.

OK

*** This works out at 50 blers per minute :-(

Why didn't the modems train down to a slower speed? Or wouldn't this help?

Frank
