Gordon Lewicky wrote to Robert Bashe on Monday June 07 2004 at 21:59: RB>> Thanks for the long quote, Gordon. It confirms what I had gathered to RB>> this point: there was NO ZCC vote to REMOVE Bob Satti from office. GL> Geez, yer another sad case. Just refuse to admit you're wrong. Nope. I'm just very precise in my wording. I leave it to others to confuse "similar" with "identical". GL> The Fidonet Zone Coordinator's Council (ZCC) is pleased to announce GL> the appointment of Ward Dossche to the position of International GL> Coordinator (IC). The new IC was elected by an absolute majority of GL> Zone Coordinators as required by Policy. "The previous IC, Bob Satti, was removed against his will by the ZCC. No resignation was forthcoming. Satti notes that the vote to remove him violated policy." GL> I sure hope you aren't trying to be childish and play word games here, GL> by saying that because Ward was voted in, therefore Bob was not voted GL> out and removed? Because, if you are, GROW UP! I don't expect to convince anyone at this point, Gordon, but it would be a pleasure to see a few more people who are above to distinguish between a regular vote to elect a new office holder and a contested (policy reasons being put forth) one to remove one in office. But don't worry, neither one of out ICs will care about what you or I think - nor do the ZCs for that matter, as they've made clear.
