March 12: The French space agency's new president visits the Spaceport

Yannick d'Escatha, the recently-named president of France's CNES 
national space agency, visited the Spaceport on March 10 and received 
an update on preparations for latest status of the upcoming Flight 
160.

CNES is the Arianespace program prime contractor Ariane development 
program agency and it also is responsible for operation of the 
Spaceport -- which also is known as the Guiana Space Center.

Arianespace Flight 160 will carry India's INSAT 3A satellite, built by 
the Indian Space Research Organisation, along with GALAXY XII, an 
Orbital Sciences Corporation spacecraft manufactured for PanAmSat.
