Hi Patricia:
I take it you liked Kiss the Girls? (G). Perhaps I should have
warned you ahead of time, but somehow that sort of detracts from the
book don't you think? It's one of those that you are afraid to turn the
page and yet can't put it down. I don't often read this type of book,
and like you, have to go to something a little lighter when I do.
Right now, I'm in the middle of Colin Powell's book. Good reading. Of
course it isn't a mystery so off topic in this conference.
I'm slowly discovering more and more mystery writers, and having a field
day with them. Am into one of the Travis McGee seies by John D.
McDonald. Now there is a real change of pace. I do like him though.
What's so interesting about these older books is the way the love scenes
are handled. Much less explicit than the newer authors. I find it rather
refreshing.
Nice to hear from you again. How's everything down Lousiana way? It's
lovely here. Cool enough for sweats, (which I love to wear). They seem
so comforting somehow. =}.
Talk to you later. Best regards,
Dorothy
