Hello Apogee programmers (and ID people).
First off I'd like to say I caught your little interview on "Extra" which
featured Jay and showed his great looking BMW 850 black sedan and the rest of
the ID department, responsible for creating the DOOM series and QUAKE and
many others.
QUAKE is a great game. I've managed to complete the first 3 levels so far but
the secrets will be a different challenge. I do like how you can go
underwater and find secret places. You can do this in DUKE 3D in one scene
as well but QUAKE uses this quite commonly throughout.
Level 4, with the undead creatures, is proving to be tricky. The undead I've
noticed cannot be killed with gun shots but only with a grenade launcher.
The only thing I don't know is how many levels are there in the shareware
release of QUAKE?
Have the other levels (Realm Of Magic, etc) been completed and can be
ordered?
