I had the pleasure this week of meeting an Italian doctor and medical 
researcher who does his research in Europe (by some folks standards, 
that automatically makes him right).
He has been researching methods of treating certain cancerous liver 
tumors by directly injecting the tumor with ethanol. Seems to be he is 
getting a knock out rate of 70% or so.
I looked him up on Medline. All of his research is published. 
Fellows name is Nuzzo, same name as my son's pediatric orthopedist, and 
his cousin.
