SC>> Maybe one day either you or I or both will be rich. Like you said
 SC> SC>> though, "don't hold your breath".

MK> Yeah. That isn't in the plan here but I am still hopefull. I am not
MK> sure about 'rich' though, or what that might mean.

Change that to having enough money to be comfortable. Rich would be to have
your health and be happy.

 SC>> I took enough pictures but unless I had a windfall, I sure can't
 SC>> print them all
SC>> out. Right now they are on either floppies, CDs or my hard drive.
SC>> I did print a few out on regular paper, which doesn't come out as
SC>> good, but I still have a copy of them.

MK> Minus the regular printer, that has been my methodology too. The
MK> batch I took (or my daughter) with that camera was overkill with
MK> repect to resolution, etc. but this way if I ever get around to having
MK> them printed they will be able to stand blowing up to larger sizes and
MK> still look sharp, or so my theory goes. For viewing on the computer
MK> they could stamd some trimming byte-wise without suffering.

I'm not that techno literate. :-)

SC>> Women must be more sensitive to these things. When I got married
SC>> my single friends kinda went on their way except for one, but my
SC>> ex's single friends still hung around.

MK> Weird. I had to start from scratch, except for one who was (is) still
MK> married. His wife was nervous at first but eventually realized that I
MK> was problably the safest guy for him to hang out with since I am not
MK> prone to sharing or matching up women to my friends ... or even the
MK> reverse now that I think about it. I don't like to be responsible for
MK> other's relationships, bad or good. They should be able to take care
MK> of their own in those circumstances. I know I preferred that for
MK> myself so it made perfect sense to me, and still does, that others can
MK> handle this aspect of life. If they can't then I certainly can't for
 MK> them.

I'll never be a match maker and don't want anyone trying it on me. Too risky
for sure.

SC>> considered contagious, just that both the men and women were
SC>> afraid that the divorced one might introduce their spouses to
 SC>> others to cheat with.

MK> That seems to be the case, except they have nothing to worry about
MK> there. In fact if they realized the truth then they'd rather their
MK> husbands hang out with me since I tend to be suspicious of strange
MK> women's motivations and always advise on the side of caution, if NOT
MK> advise to the married ones to forget about it and keep their peckers
MK> in their pants and their hands to themselves. ;-)

hehehe You are a good man. Now if they would take your advice.

SC>> Hey, maybe they will allow us on the ark together. ;-)

MK> Perhaps. I haven't asked, have you? Maybe we should build our own
MK> stinkin' ark? Perhaps Carol will come up with that crabby boat yet.
 MK> Heh, heh.

That would be fun, building an ark. Hmmmmm...

SC>> Exactly. When you don't have anything to fight over the messy
 SC>> divorce is out.

MK> Seems highly likely but only an observation here. I wouldn't really
MK> know from experience but there does appear to be a corelation.

Well, in my case, there wasn't even a chance for a custody fight because my
girls were over 18 and my son had a choice. He lived with me and visited his
dad almost everyday since he lived a few blocks from us.

SC>> Well, the drinking wasn't the only problem really. I think it
SC>> takes more than one problem for a marriage to end. We just ended
SC>> up wanting very different things from our lives and it was best
SC>> for both of us to not live together.

MK> That was the biggie with us. Our lives went completely different
MK> directions somewhere along the line.

I think that happens to most couples and if they go too far, it just won't
work. Some couples do weather it and come out ok though.

SC>> I don't have as many male friends now either, but I also don't
SC>> have as many female ones either.

MK> Same here. Doesn't really bother me though for whatever reason. As
MK> long as the few are good and true, and I the same to them, then I am
MK> relatively happy with that particular issue.

I kinda like my peaceful life now. :-)
