Yup often mucho as with fighter aircraft speed is life much more than armour is life.
Wrt the vehicles....a couple of 155/152 tied together & the armor had
better be up to MBT stds. & the vehicle had better have the weight of
an MBT coz otherwise spinning through the air & then impacting upside
down can still do a lot of harm.
