That's not the way diodes work. First of all, unless they are matched
diodes all the current is going to go through only one. By matched I mean
you have to go through several hundred to find a couple that are exactly
alike. Just having the same part number or even lot number doesn't work.
Matched or not the second diode will not increase the braking current unless
you have the diode undersized to start with. Second the majority of energy
is dissipated in the MOTOR, not the diodes.
