 Another place in Modoc County you can drive to is Lily lake, and from Lily
 lake there are two more lakes you can hike to by climbing higher on the
 mountain.....they are within half an hour hike of each other, and when I was
 last there the summer of 61, the cutthroat trout and the brookies were
 really hitting the black knat fly......I doubt if it has changed that much
 since I left because when I lived in Alturas there were more people there
 when I left than there was in 1987 when I returned for a weeks reunion..
 and less people in Modoc County overall.....and no freeways, very few 
 transients and very little crime.....compared to say...ummmmm Redding...:)
 Well, now that this has reached 184 lines plus, guess I better finish this
 novel and find someone else I can harrass for a spell........
 One last thing, come November 5th, go Vote.  I don't care who you vote for,
 that isn't important.  It isn't really important who wins.....what is

 ant though is the fact that your vote will show whoever is elected that 
here
 are still a few Americans who keep an eye on what goes on in the Ghetto 
called
 Washington......and if we can ever get more than 50% of the people to vote 
n
 every election, then you would see a lot of changes taking place in this 
 country and those who run for office today would not have been drug from the
 bottom of the barrel....if you know what I mean....so please Vote, and make
 all your friends do the same.....heck it only takes 15 minutes to an hour!!
