Thanks for the tip.  What a shame.  I have a Hayes compatible modem.  I 
threatened to make the seller take it back until he provided me with a driver 
of some kind to make the modem autoanswer in fax mode.  He gave me BitFax 
from Cheyenne.  I'm happy with it now.  How come Hayes doesn't make a driver 
for DOS for its DOS software as shareware.   I know I would help distribute 
it to OKC BBSs, because there is still a strong market for DOS faxmodem 
software, whether the good people at Microsoft want to admit it or not.  
How's about shaking loose some shareware for the great masses who can't 
afford the humongous outlay a Windows upgrade would entail?
