LC> CB> Great idea!
LC>had to put an office together with no money to do so after being on
Workers'
>Comp for 10 months, working for 8 months, then being on Unemployment for
1
>months. There was nothing left. The 8 months of steady income had not
>compensated for the time off work before I was off work again. Found all
>sorts
>of ways to make a business-like working environment suitable to be seen by
>clients and business associates without having any money to spend on it.
Please! Tell me more!:::getting notebook to make notes:::
>you paint Elmo peeking through an orange windowframe on your shed and it
>makes
>you smile every time you see it, that's right for you to do.
Well, actually I am more a ziggy fan! He understands me:)
It would
>irritate
>the hell out of me, so I would plant ivies to climb all over the shed and
>hang
>bird feeders from the eaves.
That would be beautiful! But then I'd never be alone , My
mom is a bird watcher!
Y. Looking at your first
>buck
>is a great psychological boost, both when things are going well (look how
fa
>we've come!) and when things are going badly (that's our first buck - we
>really
>are a real company)
Well I have thought it over and over and then some, I
have decided that since the kids are not opposed to having to share a
room(In fact they are overjoyed and I wonder where my *real* kids are!:)
I am going to use a small bedroom just for my office and put all Jeffs
stuff in own room, Then we will get a futon for the living room or just
crash in sleeping bags in his "office" He has agreed to this and I
really think that it will be better all the way around to have a place
separate from all living quarters:) The room I will be using has a back
door right across from the door so I intend to fix the area up so
clients can have a entrance into the office without having to walk
through the living room and my kids and thier friends in the summertime.
LC>We're here to help one another run businesses from our homes. If my
>experiences and thoughts help you, that's great, because the folk here
ave
>helped me by sharing their ideas and thoughts. It's not only the usable
>ideas
>themselves, it's the moral support, the feeling of being less alone than I
>seem
>to be, that has helped me so much. I can't actually give back the help
>they've
>given me, but if I can hand it on in however small a way, that's great.
well you've helped alot and I am looking forward to
staying in this conference!
