SG> I overheard you say you were trying silk ribbon embroidery. Is it for
SG> the first time? I bought a how-to video on silk ribbon and it's
SG> circulating. It's inspiring to see it done by someone else and to see
SG> the patterns. The instructor also teaches the stitches in a different
SG> way from the books. Please let me know if you might like to borrow
SG> it. I can ask the last person to send it to you before it comes back
SG> to me.
I am planning on trying my hand at silk ribbon embroidery also. Mom
has done some and we have quite a few books on it but I learn much
better by watching something than by reading it. If you wouldn't mind
and it's still on its way around, could I borrow it for a little while
after whoever has it last. I don't know why but I am a bit intimidated
by SRE. I've got a dress with a jean material top that I want to
embelish with SRE but not until I do a lot of practice on smaller
pieces first. I've got some patterns and a couple of kits but I would
like some visual practice first, if you know what I mean. If you don't
mind loaning it to me my address is: Connie Exner

Thanks in advance. Later.
