The message from Stuart Dubois rises higher:
SD> Plus, and I'll say it again, Pierre
C>Van Der Linden (from Focus) is one of my favorite drummers.
SD> How's that live album hold up?
Hmm, I'm disappointed. The studio versions of all of the songs on
there are better. The playing is not sloppy, but it doesn't live up
to their studio reputation. Ah, well, not all bands can be killer live.
SD> Michael de Albuquerque _We May Be Cattle But We've All
SD> Got Names_
C>Yeah, he played bass with ELO on _ELO II_ (1972) and _On The Third
C>Day_ (1973). I'm looking forward to hearing this.
SD> Electric or acoustic. My crappy memory tells me he played with a
SD> bow.
Nope, he played electric bass. That solo album is pretty lame, by the
way. Well, to be fair, I could only get through side 1.
