And you have some people of the hot rod mindset who treat an older car
like its a new off the showroom sports car.
Way too many things to go wrong, even with a frame off restorations.
Such as metal fatti-gue. Fifty plus year old steel isn't generally as strong
as new steel.
One guy learned the hard way.
There was a vid of a guy in a hopped up '60 Comet who was showing off
and crashed into a truck, totaling the car. The car survived 60 years until
some fool got behind the wheel...
