I guess it depends on what you're starting out with. Most of what I saw that
came in to the store I worked at as "trade-ins" were pretty much junk, and
very few of them were worth messing with.
We did sell the occasional used battery, but not with any warranty on them.
I'd demonstrate that they had _some_ kick to them, and that was the extent
of it. If it started the customer's car when we put it in there that was
good enough for some people.

We could be somewhat flexible too if somebody wanted to get a new battery but
would allow for less than the ordinary warranty...
