I havn't had a need for it either, but this leak appeared out of nowhere
when I began to move the Z around.

Lucky you don't live in Texas. Its always too hot to ride, except for an
early morning or late evening cruise. South central Texas, unlike the east
coast and upper midwest, cools to 70+ at night and warms up to the day's
high around 5pm, then begins another cool down as the sun sets. If it was
anything like northern Illinois when I was growing up, I wouldn't live
here. You'll know that it's going to be a hot one when the wind shifts
from a westerly flow to a southerly or south-southeasterly flow during
the summer.

I had DirecTV out here yesterday, installing a new sat system. The
'helper' tech got the job of attaching all coax to the dish that the
'senior' installer put up the roof, then he got the 'attic' job of running
coax. I didn't envy that youngster that job one iota. Been there too many
times.

Without a good roof vent system, it gets hotter than that. Our house has a
peak-vent that runs the entire length of the house and that helped some,
but I'd venture to say that it still gets upwards of 150 up there.
