Yep, I've heard that rumor too...but didn't find the documented problem
byte sequence in any of my distribution door EXEs...3.1x or 3.2x versions,
DOS or OS/2 flavors.  If somebody has successfully patched one, I'd sure
like to know which one and a chance to experiment with it.

I believe you were having some type of file system corruption issues with
another program trying to access the messagebases simultaneously in a
non-shared manner...but I thought you got past that.
