Hey Russell!

He finished mine yesterday and it works. Now I just need to figure out which
vga card I want on there. I'll try them all and see which one performs the best.
After that I'll move the rest over including the sata card for hotswapping. I
am not going to bother with the DVD stuff since I prefer straight digital files
which can be more readily streamed without the need for silly xml menuing, mysql
BS, etc. :-)

Perhaps you'd be better off having your son learn this kind of stuff. After
looking at what Paul did and the hoops he jumped through I realize that it isn't
really something I can do effectively. However the particular board I chose
looks to be worth the effort. I am starting to get a good handle on what is
worthwhile jumping through hoops for hardware-wise. Getting the FM tuner working
with the scheme was indeed a worthy cause.
Now I want to return back to where I was before jumping through these hoops for
multimedia and it had absolutely nothing to do with what I have been distracted
by as of late. First I need to get the 'new' board up to speed but I can
successfully build for that on my dual 933 jobber so ...
Life is good,
Maurice
