Hmmm. Would have driven off at that price.

I think you can keep it within warranty by having an ASE certified shop do
the plug swap. Keep the paper work to back-up your service interval
record.

Does Subaru require you buy/use their plugs? You should be able to get a
waver to that from the Subaru Area Representative.
