It seem very improbable. Although I misunderstood the post a bit, there is
a valid claim that the life could of originated on earth. If conditions were
more favorable on Mars in the past, and rock from the earth could of seeded
Mars (where evolution would take a different course) to bring it back in the
future to Earth. The scenario would work just as well for life originating
on Mars.
