Nothing more to say. Rockwell's later V.32 chipset supported a mode called
V.32terbo, which is a 12000bps protocol upwardsly compatible with V.32bis.
My E5, for example, has this newer chipset. Put ATB14 in your init string
and you should start to get 12000 connects if your modem has the feature.
