Slit tester.  Light source is frosted Christmas bulb. Yes, it looked very
smooth in the session before.  I think the lap didn't press well, because
the motion wasn't as smooth as it had been.

1. describe your tester.  Pinhole, or slit? 2. did it ever look smooth?
3.  if pinhole, what kind of diffuser do you have?
