screen capture from a graphical display, or possibly he received them at
his computer faxed...

OCR software. (but not having any installed for two pages of C I would
print them out and start typing)

Try to track the sopurce of the C code and see if anyone has it as a text
file.

or you could uuencode them but the text you would get would be of little use
