Erm - because within the occupied territories they used bits of wore and

GMAFB.  The New York Times revealed exactly what that anyone with an IQ
greater than the temperature of a warm room wouldn't have expected?

The greatest danger in the New York Times affair is precisely that - that
you will somehow convince yourselves that the "exposure" will
change how Al Qaeda operates.  Bollocks.  They may be stuck in caves and
deserts, but they can still think during those long nights.  No television,
no booze - what else is there to do but think?

It's obvious that each time they act they have to dispose of that modus
operandum.  Mobile phones are no longer any use to them - they know how
easily traced they are, and they know how the USA is dependent on SigInt
because it has almost no one inserted.

So how are they comm£nicating?  Heliographs from mountain tops?  Carrier
pigeons? Night runners?
