Are they really deals with Chavez or with Citgo, which happens to be =
owned by the government that Chavez is the elected leader of ?

We have already decided that the Federal Government shouldn't be in the =
oil business. As long as the states are making deals with a private =
business ( Citgo) I don't see it as that much different from deals = states
make every day. Various states have made deals to give the poor a = break
on drugs, why not oil ?

That's just a little bit difference from a state being involved in = foreign policy.
