MS> miles away. So... I admit that I erred on the statewide part, but I
MS> think some of the repeaters are linked up.
Before I posted the note, I checked with a old friend who works for TN state
GSA as a radio analyst. (Fancy word for one who designs the systems, and
budgets money) He handles the State Parks, and verified the fact that there
is no linking together of repeaters for parks in TN at this time.
MS> Can't say that I've ever heard Booker T. Washington or Harrison Bay
MS> State Parks on the Hamilton County SO frequencies. But, then again,
MS> HCSD uses UHF and the parks people use VHF-hi.
Normally they use a different series number, not a name of a park. Like
around here, 200 series cars are deputies, 500 fire departments, 800 is
conservation, 800 and 700 is Highway Patrol, etc. I refer of course, to the
county wide channels.
