subject: Puzzle: query calc w/ PAL

RE: PDOX DOS, using PAL features in queries
Hi,
trying to query if a date is more recent than 90 days ago is easy
        | Workday |
        | > today-90 |
but doing payroll calculations for double time on Sundays I thought
I'd try something like this:
   | Workday | OT |
   |   _wkdy, dow(_wkdy>="Sun", calc _OtHrs*2.0, as OTWeight  |  _OtHrs  |
(leaving out the 'as OTWeight, or even leaving out the calc, OR both,
I always get "missing comma", or if I blindly put commas in places,
I naturally get "expression makes no sense"....I thot I could
 use PAL statements in Queries?)
Of course I'd like to put a second line (or) for all NOT "Sun" for
the 1.5 factor for normal overtime and Saturdays.
Any pros out there already solved this before?
Other than this I have a great sold program using a table to look up
the various Straight Time, Overtime and DoubleTime pay rates.
This query error comes up often in my query CALCs, so I thought
I'd use this example to illustrate this common problem.
Thanks,
Allan.
