Hi Nancy.

Same here, but then I was planning until 2005 the year I will never
forget. I was washed out, my wife was nearly a widow, but fought
for me every step of the way making the right decisions, and one
I regretted was killing off the dialup BBS, yet for some reason keeping
the radio BBS going, but then it was a node and digipeater for helping
people extend their range.

Yup a family alright. Even if we use the Internet and suffer the cold
blodded Interneters, the BBS'ers are family.

NB> It's definitely in your blood...

Yup. I felt bad in 2005 but then the numbers were "zero" and I never
expected what happened. Just a nice experiment, and I think credit
too also is the "BlueWave" Offline Reader that helped so much, and
is also a key reason.

 NB> Now that's exciting! :)

It is exciting, but then I have to attract those who can realize it
and bring it to that realization while I connect the gateway again.

NB> I like your thinking... and planning...

The thinking and planing is for those in charge. I can only join
the other 50 or so in suggestions. Now to convince myself if
I want to get innvolved, to the point, as I have these yes -no
days and flashbacks to 2005.

NB> It's clearly in your blood.

I am not exactly a Interneter BBS'er. I like dialing up. Like
Packet Radio, I am a "RF" station. On-air not on Telnet, and
I am not into Internet programs which make a fake radio on the
screen to talk to someone... I am a dino--RF thru the radio
type person.

Aaah Nancy...I am in trouble with the moderator over this topic now
for sure, but happy new year still even if 2010 opened for me having
to get the car towed, and Maria and I stuck at home...etc...We are
at least with each other and not driven nuts ,so something can be
said. BlueWave really saved the experiment as far as I can see
as the alternative to our planners lack of a phone line or telnet
so we'll see what happens in the middle of this month, and a submission
date I have of the 8th to them. YES or NO to it, and then
well your tagline says it all....

Thanks everyone as well the moderator....but it is true "BlueWave"
did help. I am glad this conference is alive and well. Somewhere
I saw someone post on our offline BBS a description to how to get
the Bluewave up and going for WinXP and VISTA which if I can
get I will drop off here to generate conversation.

Regards Nancy, as well everyone....thanks again Sean for your help.

Peter
