Hello Cico,
Couple of notes:
Version 3.0 added "Expand Tabs to Spaces", and "Compress Spaces to Tabs"
commands to the Other menu.  When using this:
    - Make sure you have "Tabs Out Mode" set to OFF.
    - If you only want to do a specified range, use a block to highlight
      that area.  If you want to do the whole file, just execute the command
      (no block highlight necessary).
    - Save and reload the file.
