I have seen these errors caused by the combination of having ram cache
and using Smartdrive together. You might try eliminating smartdive
or at least using the /x switch (disables write caching on all drives).
Had lots of errors using DOS 6.2 and Smartdrive. Switched to IBM's PC-
DOS 6.3, eliminated Smartdrive, and have had no erors since. Hope this
