The above (Swedish) node achieved 14400/ARQ/V34/LAPM/V42BIS when he
collected his mail today. I achieved the same when I dumped off some
netmail to a node
in the US (Washington). That node crashed me twice this morning and achieved
a 14400 connection.
Three international nodes, varying connect speeds, different times of the
day or night, different modems. All I can really say with regards to the
connect speed is that it varies.
