-> BW was originally designed for PCBoard. However, as you said, George and
-> Martin were close and the TG version was the second one out (I believe).
-> That doesn't really make a hill of beans anymore though. :(

MR> It strikes me as odd about the PCBoard thing though, as You say it

What also strikes me as a little odd.... Knight Moves used PCBoard (I
still have the PCB Technical Ref Manual that Ken lent me and then didn't
want back when he had me doing some co-sysop stuff for genealogy files)
and I don't have BW message files from his board, just qwk and rep, so
he was obviously using a qwk door not BW. I think that if one was
available, I'd've talked him into trying to install it.... And,
just for the record, he closed for good in '98.

MR> later a bug fix of 401 or 410 or something like that. I am thinking
MR> 95'??? For fun sometime I should go in and check my PCB reg for the bw
MR> door and see when I got it. for nostalgias sake.. But maybe the next
MR> time I run accross my old PCb backup.. It's really unimportant. Glad as

It's all old history, for sure... :) For what it's worth, PCB's door
was the only one in the 4.-- series. At least according to a BW FAQ
file I've still got saved here... from 2000. :)
(Talk about nostalgia!)
