Aaah theres that great hubby, and so much sounding like my better half...

The nice thing about the old dialups were the local meetings with users
and we had a conference started by a user that went ,hand in hand with
the meetings of users at the local chew n choke.

With Packet radio, the problem there was and is distances, and just
whom one might be keyboarding with. Meetings were not going to happen
and when Internet came and these Internet BBSes, it seems a real chore
of organization just to have a yearly party.

Exactly. I'd like to kill those non registered user screens and tags.
In all it has been the only reason I kept at it. I am not an online
to a BBS replier. I like reading and then coming back and making a
comment here and there.

It used to mean a seperate line for the BBS, at so much, so just
an added cost of a line per month,,,I was not a Networker, so if the
Next BBS to link to went...then so did the Network.

I know sysops that went overboard with LD and the charges do mount.

I think now, that DSL and line brings Dailup and Telnet to the same
line so I might be interested. My problem is well a senior ...
and not really crazy about sitting about trying to figure out how
it works, I just wanted to supply it as a community service, as
I have the radio digipeater now.

Better get going...sooner or later I think someone is to message me
in some conference about setting up my current Wildcat v4.20 system
into a Telnet and dialup system ..etc....so take care...see you
later and keep Blue Waving ....

Peter

... BlueWave Offline...was the most important program to use on my BBS.
