I recommend going ahead.  It will gently keep you humble. Every carpet
weaver intentionally leaves mishaps in his work.   Only Allah is perfect.

If you're going to grind it out, go back 2 grades.  I tried going back to 5
micron on several projects and eventually needed 12 micron every time to
make progress.

Hi all,
Okay, I guess it was bound to happen.  I was pretty much finished
polishing. And sometime in the last wet I aquired a scratch.  I didn't hear
it but that isn't surprising considering I don't hear well anyway.  I
attached a small picture of this scratch.  It is about 3 inches and about
the thickness of a human hair. I can just feel it with my fingernail.  So
how far back should I go to grind it out?
