  When the 3D was somewhat revived in the early '80s it was shown on the
big screen here (along with a few others '50s films).
  A few 3D films were shown on tv where you also needed these paper 3D
glasses.  Unlike the big screen, I couldn't make out the 3D very well, just a
glimpse here and there.  Others said they could, some couldn't, so who knows
for sure.
  I still have a pair of those glasses.
