It's not a matter of "believing" rather than "being".
Quite simple, count ¨the noses and see in which direction they point ... I
win, case closed.

With all due respect Malcolm is in a "lose-lose" position. He was
¨advised not to proceed but he did anyway ... too bad.

When he does something and would be seconded by Janis and/or Richard
¨and/or Bin Li zone-2 will say "See? Told you so!" whatever the
benefit of ¨the issue. 

If he does not do anything it will be the same "See? Told you so!".

But since he is not the IC and obviously not representative for any kind
¨of majority within Fidonet the discussionpoint is irrelevant.

BTW, you haven't thanked me yet for salvaging your net and/or region up to
¨3 times from being de-listed in the nodelist. Every time calling Janis ...
¨nobody having noticed it, Malcolm neither. Shall I just forget about it
