        Mark, It increases the reliability and effectiveness of the brakes.
        Tekin now installs TWO diodes internally in their top of the line
        ESC's.   A higher number of diodes = higher braking current 
        dissipation = MORE BRAKES.
        At times the single diode will overheat and either burn out or 
        temporarily lose it's effectiveness.
        I have personal experience with the above conditions, not just
        theoretical.
