I'm running 3 M34F's and one Smartmodem 288 at the moment.

:( So far I'm -not- impressed with the new 288 model. It has a clunky hook
relay (the M34F's are silent), and it makes speaker connection noise even
with M0 set. Argh!

Also, does anyone have any technical info on the VoiceMaster 288's voice
command usage? The model includes -no- technical info on the subject, and
voice control is an emerging standard (i.e. not yet a standard), so that
most software appears to not work with the VoiceMaster 288. Cooee is NO
option of course, I can't affort to dedicate a whole machine to running
Win3.xx just as an answering machine.. and Win3.XX cannot run standalone
for more than 3 days in any case (by design).

Regards.
