Possibly I can meet your "one of the people in here..." criterion.
I have my original Linspire 4.5 linux CD and the version Five-0
CD I burned from a downloaded image file used to upgrade the 4.5
to version Five-0, After about a month useage the system became
corrupted such that the Mozilla browsers and the network server
Linspire used Mozilla code to interface all other internet inter-
facers (except Opera and Galeon) now crash my linux Linspire system.
Linspire support has not been able to overcome problem. If it is a
flaw in the OS, the reseller dosen't appear to recognize it, and/or
can't correct it. I suspect it resulted from a virus but have no
way to prove it.

In any case I have let my Linspire contract expire and recently
downloaded the KUBUNTU image file and hope the South Afrians may
be more supportive.

Stay young, OldAck.
