Other than doing custom work to get my BBS (WWIV) to integrate more with FTN networks, the BBS itself is mostly the same as it was from years ago. It is highly customized however. The source is VERY different from the stock WWIV. It was years and years of custom coding that got it to where I wanted it. My main thing these days is just keeping the messages going. WWIV has no "native" FTN support, so I'm using WWIVTOSS (written by Craig Dooley aka Morgul) and now being updated my myself. I fixed a few things and released WWIVTOSS 1.50. It also plays very nicely with D'Bridge (which I am running two instances of). One for the BBS and one acts as a hub. My top plan is to just keeping the message areas alive, but also when new ideas come to mind, I try to turn them into reality.. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.50* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 261/1304 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
