| subject: | Windows XP Mode ? |
I have a question regarding Windows 7. I didn't realize that it was that much different that XP "under the hood." However, I have been reading some about "XP mode" and how it allows you to "continue to run older business software" written for XP. So, is any software that is not a "Windows 7 version" going to require this XP mode? I have some games, like Simcity 2000 & Simcity 3. They were actually written for Windows 9xm and run fine under XP. If I were trying to install these on a Windows 7 machine, would I need XP mode installed/enabled to do it? Thanks!
