 DR> for some kids, and so's HeadStart (if you qualify). But preschool is
 DR> not a substitute for good parenting. 
 You got that right girl, as far as you go, but good parenting does include
 the best possible education.  If the parents do not encourage the child to
 get as good an education as possible, then they, the parent(s) are being
 negligent in their duties as a parent.  Home schooling is great for those
 who are physically or mentally disabled to a point where attendance in a
 classroom envrironment would be more disrupting to the students as a whole
 than good for the child.
 Funny thing is though, the parents who feel the school does not teach their
 children enough, or in the right manner, or the right subjects are those
 parents who do not attend Parent Teachers Meetings, will not attend a 
tudent
 night at the child's school, or will even make an effort to help out at the
 school, yet they call themselves "good parnets"......and wonder why, when 
 the child grows up, he/she winds up in trouble with the law.......the answer
 is real simple, the child was not able to learn the morals and mores of the
 society outside of the home.....and in most instances, most mind you, the
 home is a single parent trying to bleed the government out of every handout
 they can get their grubby paws on.....using the child and homeschooling as
 an excuse for not going to work!!  And they wonder why the United States of
 America, the strongest country in the world has the highest crime rate per
 capita, the highest receivitism rate per convicted felon, the highest 
 sucicde rate, the highest bitch rate (mother having children out of wedlock)
 in the world!!
 Get your kid back in public school, and if you don't like the public school
 system, put them in a private school...catholic, military acadamey, 
hristian
 or non-secetarian school.....if you think, the free ride on the government 
s
 comming to an end......we got rid of 40 years of tyranny from the Democratic
 controlled congress, next we get rid of that Donkey President and put this
 country back on the right track again..........can you remember the 1950's?
 The United States had a Republican in the Whitehouse and the congress was 
 pretty fairly split and this country was the strongest country in the world
 in every catagory.....then the liberals went hog wild....Vietnam and Johnson
 Free love in the 60's, the drug ridden 70's  the crime ridden 80's and now
 it is a mixture of all three in the 90's.....what happens at the turn of the
 century??
