I'm still a Novice, but I have read BBS messages of users who use SCSI
for all their HDD's.
For a long time I thought this pc had a IDE HDD because of seeing IDE
being checked on Boot, but just learned recently that what I've seen
on the screen just after the IDE check is several lines of info about
SATA devices it is looking for.
After checking for SATA stuff the screen switches to the SCSI Adapter
initialation.
My HDD is SATA.
